Shawn Jaye Briggs, 52, was born November 8, 1959 in Methuen, MA to Harry Bernier Briggs and Shirley Janet Briggs. He passed away March 3, 2012 in Brush Co., Colorado. He moved to Midwest City, OK and attended schools there until the family moved away and then returned in 1975 where Shawn received his G.E.D. Shawn was preceded in death by both sets of Grandparents; his father; a brother, Scott Jeffrey Briggs and nephew Sterling James Donahue. He is survived by his mother, Shirley of Edmond, OK; sister, Sandra Jean Donahue of Denver, Colorado; nieces, Stacy Janelle Cannon of Spotsylvania, VA and Sophia Joy Tyre and husband Tim of Houston TX. Shawn was also survived by a host of other extended family and friends. Memorial Services will be conducted by Ford Funeral Service at Waterloo Road Baptist Church, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:00P.M. with Rev. Homer Williams officiating.
