After facing extended illnesses, William Lewis LaPach, Sr., passed away on June 7, 2012, in the comfort of his home, with loved ones around his bedside. “Bill” was born December 22, 1923 in Detroit Michigan, the child of Mike and Julia LaPach. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Dorotha Louise. He is survived by two sisters, Louise and JoAnn; daughter Sandy; son Bill; grandchildren Cotton, Jim, Sam, Bubbles, Candace, Chris, Tim, Monica, Aaron, Daniel, Emily, and Andrew; and 7 great grandchildren. Bill was quite the devoted husband and father, always striving to please his woman, provide for his family, and bless those fortunate enough to have dealings with him (usually with a smile). He was a decorated Korean War Army Veteran (Purple Heart and Bronze Star) and accomplished entrepreneur, including: gas station, clothing store, game room/snack bar, furniture upholstery, and rental properties. His primary hobbies were fishing, fishing, and fishing. Some of his family’s fondest memories revolve around long vacations to Galveston Texas. Funeral services: 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2012, Ford Funeral Service, 305 S. Sooner Rd, MWC OK. Interment: Sunny Lane Cemetery, 3900 SE 29th St., Del City, OK.
