Ulys Joedean Ford of Lindsay, OK was born on August 18, 1924 in Cement, OK the oldest son of Henry and Minnie Ford. Ulys peacefully passed away and was welcomed into the Kingdom of our Lord on May 27, 2012. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Larry and brothers, Milford and Raymond. Ulys is survived by and shared unconditional love with his wife and best friend of 65 years, Patsy. He is also survived by his brother, Lloyd and wife Brenda of Fort Worth, TX; daughter in law, Shirley Ford of Oklahoma City, OK; sons, Roger and wife Sherri Ford of Del City, OK and Steve and wife Teri Ford of New Braunfels, TX; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Ulys was a member of the First Baptist Church Lindsay where he had served as a deacon. He was always involved in his children's lives and a willing supporter of all programs that served the young people of Lindsay. Ulys was retired from Superior Oil Co. Visitation for Ulys Ford will be on Wednesday from 12pm to 8pm at B.G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay, OK. Funeral Services will be conducted by Ford Funeral Service at 11am, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the First Baptist Church Lindsay with Randy Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay, OK.
