Matthew Winfred Thigpen went to be with the LORD on June 24, 2012. Matthew served in the United States Air Force for twenty years before retiring at Tinker Air Force Base as a Master Sergeant. He then worked as a Physician’s Assistant for more than thirty-five years. He was a member of Tinker Air Force Base Chapel and his family lived in Spencer, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Harriet; three children, Pamela, Karen, and Michael; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Matthew was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. A memorial celebration of his life will be held in the Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 3rd, at 10 a.m. Instead of flowers, please make donations to: In His Name Ministries, P.O.
