Albert Ann Sheddrick

Albert Ann Sheddrick went to her eternal home on February 4, 2022. She was born on January 8, 1924, to Albert and Fannie Rodenberg in Warrensburg, Missouri. After high school graduation, she attended Central Missouri University (Warrensburg), and graduated in 1945. She taught school for one year at the ye School of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri, and then went back to school in Louisville, Kentucky for two years. Upon completing her schooling, her fiancé returned from a two-and-a-half year tour in Japan, and they were married September 13, 1948, in San Francisco, California. Later in her marriage she went on to earn her certificate in Library Science. She was employed by the Oklahoma City Public Schools as a librarian for 19 years at Southeast High School and retired in 1989. These were years of great pleasure for her. Albert Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Myron; her parents’ her sister, Ophelia and husband, Jim; son in law, Mike Martin; and many close relatives. She is survived by one daughter, Natalie Martin of Yukon, OK; granddaughter, Kara Ann Shough, husband Evan and their daughters- Rachel Ann, Laura Elise and Kayln Renee of Edmond, OK; granddaughter Ashley Nicole Nguyen, husband Viet, and children Keira Mai and Kaden Thai of Oklahoma City, OK. Albert Ann asked Jesus into her heart on July 9, 1980 and was baptized. She was a member of First Southern Baptist since 1980. Her greatest earthly joys were her family and teaching the young people in Sunday School for many years. Services will be held in the Candlewood Chapel on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery beside her husband of 63 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11th from 12-8:00 pm with family greeting friends from 6-8:00 pm.
