Earl Leon Garrett Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Earl “Leon” Garrett, loving husband, father, grandfather, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on April 23, 2021 in Midwest City at the age of 79. Leon was born in Geary Oklahoma on February 5, 1942 to Earl Henry and Hazel Irene Garrett. He was a member of Mustang Church of the Nazarene. He graduated from Pala Dura High School in Amarillo. He owned a clock shop where he repaired antique clocks, and was also a pawn broker. He retired from ITEX as a broker in 2019. He was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Rhonda and her husband James Cathey, and son Richand Garrett and wife Blanca, his brother Dale and wife Sharon, and his two nieces Tonya and Sherry and their families. Leon also had many stepsons and stepdaughters: Cyndi Gandy and her husband Greg; Tim Kluge and his wife Gina; Jay Kluge and his wife Jenae. He was loved by several grandkids: Garrett and Aaryn Cathey, Leigh Henshaw and her husband John, Denver Garrett and his wife Kelsey, Ashton Garrett, Kyle Gandy and his wife Crystal, Karra Russell, Kateland Jett and her husband Doug, Drew Kluge, Autumn Kluge, Jayci Esparaza and her husband Gustav, and Averae, Sophi and Sawyer Kluge. Leon was also blessed to have several great-grandkids: Elijah, Ian, Lincoln; Penelope and Henry; Anson; Jacob and Lilly.
