Jim Mallory, 64, of Piedmont, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on February 20, 2021. Jim is survived by his mother, Margery Mallory, sisters, Diane, Sally and Julie Mallory, all of Dallas. Jim is also survived by his stepchildren, Christopher Robinette of Nashville, TN, and Jennifer Robinette LeBlond (Paul) of Edmond, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father James Wallace Mallory, and his beloved wife Karen Robinette Mallory. Jim was born in Spokane, Washington, on October 23, 1956. His family moved to the Dallas area in 1970 where Jim graduated from W.T. White High School. He earned a degree in Business Administration from University of North Texas (then North Texas State University). Jim was an avid sports enthusiast since early childhood. He started playing golf, basketball, and baseball at the age of three and continued to be a scratch golfer throughout his life. He spent much of his career in the service industry, managing several golf and country clubs. He also loved to fish and spent many of his childhood summers fishing for trout in Montana on the Big Hole River. Jim never met a stranger and would help anyone no matter the size of the project. His heart was so large when it came to others. Jim could fix anything, and his family called him Mr. Fixit. Jim was a regular blood donor, and it was his wish that all harvestable organs be donated at the time of his death. Jim was a dog lover and rescued or adopted many throughout his life. He is survived by his dogs, Mallory and Bandit. In memorial, Jim would want you to register to be an organ donor or donate to a no kill animal shelter of your choice. A memorial service will be held in Oklahoma City on: Date: Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Location: All Souls Episcopal Church 6400 N. Pennsylvania Avenue Oklahoma City, OK 73116 The family will also have a private memorial service in Dallas at a later date.
