July 17, 1929 - December 5, 2019
Inez Jeannine Lowery was born July 17, 1929 in Shawnee, OK to Roy and Inez Pipkin. She passed away December 5, 2019. Jeannine graduated from Excelsior High School in Cromwell, OK and was very active in the Excelsior Alumni. Jeannine enjoyed playing basketball in school and water skiing at Lake Texoma. She was also a talented painter, a talent she shared with her mother. Jeannine retired from Southwestern Bell and enjoyed 3 years of retirement with her husband, JT, before his passing in 1989. Mom’s prayer has always been for God to use her. After returning from a mission trip in Chili, she saw that there were many people in her home town who had similar needs. With the help of others, Mission Mid-Del/Masters Market began and continues to serve others to this day. After surviving breast cancer, Jeannine started Hand in Hand, a support group for cancer survivors. She was always one who was sensitive to other’s needs. Whenever anyone brought a need to Mom her response was “Let’s pray about it” and she would pray right then. Jeannine was honored with the Integris Health Oklahoma Women of the Year 2009. She is survived by her sister, Jerry Wilkinson; brother, Roy Pipkin; 4 children – Gwen Davis and husband Dr. Jeff Davis, Dr. David Lowery and wife Dr. Lisa Lowery, Julie Mallonee and husband Cliff Mallonee, Pam Lowery and spouse Gayla Barker; 7 grandchildren – Jad Davis, Jodi Scott, Zak Davis, John Mallonee, Amy White, Savannah Suozzi, Chloe Lowery; 12 great-grandchildren – Megan, Brooklyn, Madison, Zoey, Jacob, Bodie, Luke, Abbey, Katey, Billie Grace, Makayla, Lucy; 3 great great-grandchildren – Ezra, Summit and Leo; and nieces and nephews – Chuck Gibbs, Terry Rushing, Larry Wilkinson, Scott Pipkin and many great nieces and nephews. Our prayer warrior is now our angel. We love you Mom. We love you Nanny. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Masters Market at 2816 Woodcrest Drive, Midwest City, OK 73110.
