Joseph Alan Grayson
September 23, 1980 - February 2, 2022
Joseph Alan Grayson, age 41 passed away February 2, 2022, at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born September 23, 1980, to Don and Nancy Grayson. Joe graduated from Del City Highschool class of 2000. He was a gifted athlete, participating in football and track and field. He still holds the shot-put record at Kerr Middle School. He worked as a delivery driver for Tenderette Steak Co. and worked part time with some of his best friends at Nic’s Place. He took much joy and pride in his work and his absence will surely be felt. Joe truly lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures, video gaming, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his niece and nephew. Most people know him as “Big Joe”. His size and stature held no comparison to his personality. He was witty, considerate, genuine and his presence alone could put people at ease. He loved without judgment, whole heartedly and could heal almost anything with his giant bear hugs. Joe is survived by his father Don Alan Grayson; sister Melissa Johns; brother-in-law MIcah Johns; and his niece and nephew Madelynn and Cole Johns. Please join us in celebrating his life with a memorial service to be held at Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 9th at 11:00 am. “And think of him as living In the hearts of those he touched… For nothing loved is ever lost And he was loved so much” By Ellen Brenneman
