Linda Lou Boyd

Linda Lou Boyd, 74, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on August 26, 2021. She was born on September 28, 1946, in Los Angeles California. Linda attended Midwest City High School and then went on to Oklahoma State University where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital for many years and then retired from Midwest City Regional Hospital. In her spare time, she loved reading, watching movies, listening to music, and doing arts and crafts. She really enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends any time she was able. Linda is survived by her niece, Anitra Cruz (Coppedge); nephew, Jay Coppedge; and many friends that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Place; her mother, Ruth Place; stepmother, Kay Place; and her sister, Kristine Coppedge (Place). There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021, at 2:30pm, at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
