Mary Louise (Booth) Troxell, 93, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 11, 2021 at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Ok. Mary Lou was born to John Lige and Effie May (Lasater) Booth in Lakeview, Tx. on May 19, 1928. She grew up and attended school in Shawnee, Ok. She later married the love of her life, Robert Keith Troxell on December 21, 1947. Mary Lou loved to sing, sew and cook. She was a woman of great faith. While living in East Texas, she was known to sing for East Lake Baptist Church on the local radio station as well as teach children’s Sunday school. When Mary Lou and her family moved to Lindsay, Ok. in 1956, they became members of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church where she was part of the women’s alter guild for many years. And later became a member of Criner Baptist Chuch. Mary Lou was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband of 40 years, her siblings; Euletta (Booth) Sanders, John (Bud) Booth, RD Booth, Mozelle (Booth) Bowie, Bill Booth, Joe Booth and Curt Booth; and her daughter Roberta (Troxell) Keel. She is survived by; daughters Judith and her husband, Ron Ketch of Oklahoma City, Ok, Karen and her husband Danny Cunningham of Newcastle, Ok, Doug Keel, son in law who was married to Roberta (Troxell) Keel; grandchildren; Kendra King of Bethel Acres, Ok, Sean and Stacey King of Queen City, Az, Laneal Mediouni of Mustang, OK, Valerie and her husband Justin Brewster of Oklahoma City, Ok, Brian Keel of Katy, Tx, Ryan Cunningham and his wife Megan of Norman, Ok and Lindsay (Cunningham) Kohout of Choctaw, Ok Great-grandchildren; Victoria Mediouni, Devin and Danny Chastain, Olivia Brewster, Kate King, Hunter and Karlee Kohout, and one Great- great granddaughter, Kensleigh. As well as many nephews and neices.
