Norma Lorene Chambers
August 31, 1924 - February 4, 2022
Norma Lorene (Granny) Chambers was born August 31, 1924, in Mansfield, Missouri to Earsel and Minnie Goss. She went to be with our Lord on February 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Lewis Chambers; brother Jake Goss; sister Mildred Douglas; sister-in-law Elda Smith; and grandson Claude Potts. Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Midway Village, where she remained a faithful member, and minister’s wife until her health declined. Norma celebrated 81 years of Holy Matrimony with Eddie Chambers, the love of her life, prior to her passing. Norma was by his side every step of the way over the last 81 years, but never more than the last few years where she assisted in his care up until her final days. Norma was a caregiver to all. She would always make certain there was a full belly, a warm hug and a prayerful hand for anyone who crossed her path. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, three daughters: Correne (Robert) Stepp, Collene (Lee) Marcy, Kathryn (Gary) Hankins; Thirteen Grandchildren: Robert Stepp Jr & Linda, Tony Stepp, Rex Stepp & Terri, Cheri Reilly & John, JoAnn Capers & Danny, Lewis Chambers & Brandy, Gary Hankins & Lynsey; Thirteen Great Grandchildren: Jonathan, Luke, Lindsey, Alex, Josh, Joey, Tori, Carsyn, Collin, Kylie, Kennedy, Steven, Rachel; Four Great Great Grandchildren: Kodi, Ezra, Samuel, Bentley; and a host of friends, relatives, and Church Family.
