Sheila Ann Hill

June 22, 1964 - January 16, 2022

A memorial reception honoring the life of Sheila Hill will be at 4pm on Thursday, January 20th at Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service in Midwest City, OK. Sheila Ann Hill, 57, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 16, 2022, in Oklahoma City. Sheila was born June 22,1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lester William Grubbs and Juana Lee Grubbs. Sheila had 3 siblings – Timothy, Mark, and Tonya. In 2005 Sheila married her spouse Gary Hill whom she loved dearly. Growing up, Sheila remained very close with her siblings through every challenge they may have faced. Her older siblings were always there to look after her and take care of her. As a young teenage, Sheila was baptized at the age of 13 at Sooner Road Baptist Church in Midwest City. She loved to tumble and was very good at it. To this day, Sheila has some lifelong friends whom she’s remained close with since her childhood. Sheila spent 20 years as a Dental Assistant. She loved reading novels, once she started a book, she would not be able to put It down. She loved hanging out with her friends, spending time with her grandkids, and laying out on her pool float. Sheila also loved taking care of her flowers in her flowerbeds. She was a self-labeled diva and made sure to stand out with her flashy jewelry while driving her Corvette. Sheila is survived by her husband, Gary Hill; children, Scott Schwab and wife Kaci Schwab, Tara Hill and husband Jake Hill; grandchildren, Cody Schwab, Austin Hill, Caden Bohanon, Peyton Hill, Kaden Smith, Gavin Hill, and Brittin Schwab; siblings, Mark Allen Grubbs and wife Rita, Tonya Lee Carpenter and husband Tim. She will also be missed by her nephews and nieces (she played a very active role as aunt to Nikki, Tyler, and Travis), cousins, and in-laws. She is preceded in death by her brother Timothy William Grubbs, and father Lester William Grubbs. We want to thank Warr Acres Nursing Facility for the kindness, loving care and friendship so freely given to our mother. A memorial reception honoring Sheila’s life will be at 4pm on Thursday, January 20th at Ford Funeral Service in Midwest City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sheila’s name to the Alzheimer's Research Association.
