Susanna Rae Scheidler

Susanna Rae Scheidler, affectionately known as Sue, 77, of Midwest City, OK transitioned to heaven on Monday, October 11, 2021. Sue was born on August 2, 1944 in Midwest City, OK to her mother, Laura Rempe Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debbie Huff & husband, Steve of Oklahoma City, OK; granddaughter, Aubrey Huff of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Charles A. Smith & wife, Lovell Francis of Ramona, CA; brother, Harold Smith of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Sharon Robinson of Moore, OK; and cousin, Ron Rempe Sr. & wife, Lucretia of Choctaw, OK; and many nieces and nephews. Sue was met in heaven by her husband of 49 years, Lloyd William Scheidler; mother, Laura Josephine Rempe Smith; stepfather, Andrew J. Smith; brother, Allan W. Smith; aunt, Mary Loraine Howard; cousin, Gloria Jean Bowien; and cousin, Stella Louise Rempe. Sue was a proficient homemaker most of her life. As a devoted wife and mother, she possessed passion for serving others, mainly her family which also included her church family. While Sue was hospitable, she also visited many elderly ladies in their homes throughout her years to offer assistance and support. She naturally befriended others with her sweet and outgoing personality and spunky sense of humor. Attending church at the Outreach Prayer Center, spending quality time with family and friends, cooking, baking, flower gardening, doing yard work, sewing, writing letters, and watching football or a good television show brought much joy to Sue’s life. Although Sue will be immensely missed by her loved ones here on earth, she will be honored by their reminiscing and celebrating the life she lived. Completely free from pain, Sue is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
